9K - $121K a year Position Summary The Director Human Resource will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Core Duties Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, recruitment, compensation, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business-related field 5 years of related work experience, healthcare experience preferred Previous Management experience Ability to be customer focused and results oriented Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to interact with all levels within the organization Previous experience in writing policies and procedures Additional information To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
