Event and Business Development Coordinator

Position Summary
The Event & Business Development Coordinator is responsible for the assisting in the operations of the Development Office and is responsible for cultivating and maintaining donors, fundraising and major events planning, and donor database and financial management for various programs within the Foundation.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with Business Development Manager and their clients to maintain existing relationships while helping to create and build new client relationships
Providing sales and administrative support through various office duties such as answering the phone, making calls to vendors and donors, managing calendars, scheduling site visits, etc.
Supporting the Business Development Manager in attaining sales targets
Input data into the company's database and update as needed
Maintaining an efficient work environment while contributing to the overall success of the organization
Assist in sales initiatives as outlined by the Business Development Manager ie. Local business visits, research, cold calling, follow-ups, etc.
Assist Business Development Manager with event logistics including, but not limited to, scouting venues, recruiting volunteers, on-site support and other event production elements
Work with the marketing team to ensure all event logistics and registration information in up to date on the event website, marketing material, etc.
Actively use company systems to manage projects, i.e. Donor Perfect, Excel, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Event planning experience
Outside sales experience
Strong project management, customer service, and relationship building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
