Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the administrative operations and clinical practice activities on a twenty-four hour basis; provides patient care services that are coordinated to provide a seamless, integrated system of care that is high value, cost effective and customer focused.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Assists department manager in operational activities of unit
Responsible for ensuring the bedside nursing performance according to unit policy
Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately.
Reprioritizes and delegates other responsibilities during emergency situations.
Remains calm and objective during emergencies; functions calmly and efficiently in periods of high activity.
Facilitates transfer of care to a higher level of care facility.
Keeps family/significant others informed of patient's status.
Minimum Requirements
Current NJ RN License
5 years Med/Surg experience
ACLS certification
National certification or obtained within 6 months
Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
